Our Promise: You are receiving an authentic RJ Pearce original design free of defects in materials or workmanship. Each purchase is supplied with a Certificate Of Authenticity, a receipt of purchase and GIA certificates where applicable.

Why Is It Important To Have?

A certificate of Authenticity provides a guarantee of genuineness. As a buyer of designer fine jewellery, you must only buy jewellery that is backed by a certificate of Authenticity. This ensures that what you have bought is not counterfeit and that it is an invaluable heirloom.

Contents and Benefits

A certificate of Authenticity clearly discloses the details of any item it accompanies, and is signed by the designer.
A certificate of Authenticity is legally binding for all nations and valid for all languages.
A certificate of Authenticity is insurance that what you are getting is not a fraud, that you are investing in the real thing and that you are getting an invaluable heirloom that you can pass from generation to generation.
A certificate is an assurance that what you are buying is exactly as described by the jeweller. It is the only way to strengthen your confidence in the seller and keep your peace of mind.

Terms of this Warranty

  1. To help identify authentic RJ Pearce jewellery, each piece is stamped with an RJ Pearce logo (RJP) which is registered with the ‘Gold and Silversmiths Guild Of Australia’ along with their logo (kangaroo head) and year stamp for provenance. If your jewellery is not stamped, it is not covered by this warranty. If you purchased RJ Pearce jewellery that is not stamped, return it immediately to get it stamped in order to ensure its coverage.
  2. To ensure proper maintenance of RJ Pearce jewellery you should have it inspected by us at least once a year. You are responsible for maintaining a record of these annual inspections. If you do not have a signed annual inspection certificate from within the last year, your jewellery is not covered by this warranty.
  3. Any repairs, sizing or other modifications of your jewellery must be performed by RJ Pearce. If RJ Pearce determines at its sole discretion, that your jewellery was worked on by an unauthorised jeweller, it is not covered by this warranty.
  4. This warranty does not cover damage from normal (or abnormal) wear and tear, from mishandling, or damage caused intentionally or negligently by you. If RJ Pearce determines, at its sole discretion, that your jewellery was damaged through wear and tear through mishandling, it is not covered by this warranty. However, if RJ Pearce repairs your jewellery, this warranty may be reinstated.

Included Extras

One free ring clean and polish is offered once a year for the life of your purchase. A nominal fee will be charged for refinishing and rhodium plating of white gold and platinum jewellery.

Resizing of a surprise gift is free within 30 days of purchase and must be noted on the receipt at time of purchase. A fee for extra gold or matching designs in ornate bands will be charged if warranted.

Refunds Policy

Please choose your purchase carefully as RJ Pearce do not give refunds if you simply change your mind or make an incorrect selection. RJ Pearce do not give refunds for any item that has been resized, engraved or altered in any way or, for any worn, scratched or damaged items.

RJ Pearce may offer credit, refund or exchange if purchase is deemed faulty or do not match description of sample. All refund or exchanges must be made within 14 days of purchase.
Any Item returned for refund or exchange must be accompanied with the original purchase receipt, the original packaging in new saleable condition and also include any certificate including Certificate of Authenticity and GIA certificate where applicable.

Shipping and Returns

All shipping of online purchases is insured by RJ Pearce until the receiver, or person assigned by the receiver, has signed for the item. RJ Pearce offers free shipping throughout Australia for purchases above $1,000 .

International free shipping is offered for online purchases over $2.000. International purchases will be exclusive of GST but will be charged, on route to the receiver, the country of destinations local taxes and import duties.
Any returns to RJ Pearce must be pre-paid and insured during delivery.

Lay By

RJ Pearce offers lay-by for a term of 60 days from date of purchase.
Lay-by is only available on items from stock. A 40% deposit is required with additional payments of 30% in 30 days and final balance of 30% in 60 days.

Special Orders and Commissions

A 50% deposit is required on all special orders and commissions on the condition that special orders cannot be cancelled. If a special order is cancelled all deposits will be forfeited. Special orders must be collected within 7 days of item being completed, unless otherwise agreed at time of deposit with RJ Pearce. Final payment must be cleared into our account, paid credit card or cash prior to item being released. No purchase will be released until bank cheque or funds transfers are cleared into our account.
